He is fluently bilingual and likes singing in Italian, English and French. From the age of 10, he has been trained in the true 'Bel Canto' tradition with the help of Professor Bernard d'Abrera ( student of the Tito Schipa tradition), Stephen Beet (vocal coach) and Julia Sloman (Royal Academy of Music). His innate musicality, charm, delightful stage presence and a natural, richly toned and beautiful soprano voice, have, with his training, made him the remarkable young performer that he is today – and he is only 11! He has already worked with such artists as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Henri Dutilleux, Bob Wilson and François le Roux. Although he is highly motivated, he remains a modest, very normal and well-adjusted boy, enjoying sports such as football, swimming, tennis and gymnastics. He also plays the piano and is learning the renaissance lute. He is interested in science and history and performs magic tricks when he has the time! Louis-Alexander is also a gifted classical dancer and at 9 had his first ballet choreographed for him by Joseph Russillo (Théâtre de la Ville, Châtelet, Paris). He attends the Ecole des Enfants du Spectacle in the Latin Quarter which allows him time to perform professionally. He is very popular at school and has been elected to represent his class this year. His first disc 'Forgotten Favourites', from a concert recorded live at the Three Choir Festival Fringe and introduced by Dr Roy Massey, MBE, will be available soon.. He would like to be a singer (preferably a tenor such as Schipa or Gigli) after his voice has changed. please click picture for more details Just Released!
